Collection
A design exploration became a collection of modern rings and virtual retail space in this exploration of methods, materials and business design.
Problem
The work I was doing at Deloitte was changing, I there was a growing need for travel and I could not accommodate it at the time. The world was and always is changing and I wanted to explore.
Solution
I attended a conference that had an exhibit for many diverse applications of 3D printing. This was the opening of my mind and the creation of a tiny modern wearable physical product.

Explorations
Explorations included autocad and 3d printing runs, it included working sessions at local Boston studio when 2D and 3D was emerging.
I knew I wanted to explore minimalism so I was sketching different small scale designs.
Methods
Competitive Analysis
I looked to the Dutch for their simple and nature design aesthetics.

Process
What ended up emerging was a process from materials to construction, to package. The design process involved all the tools in my UX tool belt with the mission to expand.
Ring Base
First, creating a composite texture involved adhering these tiny pieces to a uniform linear texture. Drawing from the natural material but
The composite is then imprinted on in conformed geometric patterns.
Construction
Metals were prepared separately and set in the geometric pieces.
